It's time for another week recap, and what an exciting one!
On Halloween, I flew to Barcelona, to attend Somos Scrap, an international scrapbooking event - it was so much fun! Before we get into that, I have 2 weekly spreads that I haven't shared yet so here they are:
This week I used some of my new Winter Wonderland stickers, along with Maggie Holmes scrabook paper - really loved how the colors turned out :) Besides my own, I also used some stickers from The Reset Girl, HappyCloudInc, StickWithMeShop and PrettyStickinCute (all on etsy, except TRG).
On Halloween week, I used mainly a printable kit from Le Paper House, along with some of my stickers (as usual). It was a kawaii spooky theme :)
Last week I released my December themed kit (on the right) and this week I released the Winter Wonderland collection - I had so much fun designing these, it put me on a Holiday mood for sure! My favorite is the little polar bear and the coffee mugs :) I'm also really enjoying the new checklist style, with a scalloped edge!
As I mentioned earlier, I spent Halloween at Somos Scrap in Barcelona, Spain, and I got to meet creative girls like Lora Bailora (love her washi) and Amy Tangerine (love her paper designs). It was really fun to watch them creating live and to chit chat a little. Thanks to Amy Tangerine, I finally got a Pentel water brush and I'm loving it! I also was super happy to win a calligraphy stamp set from Lora Bailora, from a little raffle she was offering :)
Barcelona has several little stores that offer scrapbooking and planner goodies, so I had to get these - a cute penguin washi, several mini ink pads (loving the versafine) and an icon stamp set, perfect for planning. Thankfully Spanish is very similar to Portuguese, so I can use the word stamps too :) The wonderful mechanical pencil set and tissue paper are from Tiger.
I took my traveler's notebook with me during this short trip and I immediatly used some of the goodies purchased at Somos Scrap, like the Dear Lizzy serendipity stamp set and ephemera, by We R Memory Keepers. The water brush come in handy too :) I later added some bits and bobs from our trip.
We wandered on foot around Barcelona, enjoying the nice weather, little streets and major attractions. It's a vibrant, beautiful city, with so much to see. Click the "Read More" below, to see more photos from our trip.
Are you still there? :) Sorry for the long post, I had so much to share. Hope you enjoyed reading and I hope you have a great week!
