Today I want to share with you the current setup of my lilac macaron planner, that I have reviewed here. As with any project, this configuration might change in the future but for now I'm pretty pleased with it :)
Above is my dashboard, with a print of one of my illustrations. Although it's laminated, I inserted it on a clear sleeve for extra protection, I'm afraid it might tear with use. On the pockets, I have a random selection of stickers, post-it notes and kawaii page flags. I really like the girl stickers and use it while planning my week.
This is the monthly view of June and the inserts came from this seller. I have done minimal decor, as you can see. After using the planner for a month, I realize I don't look at the monthly view as much for planning. However, I use the bottom grid everyday, as a weight, exercise and meal tracker. I add small red or green dots - it allows me to have a broader view of my diet.
This planner does not come with dividers, so I decided to create my own! As you can see, I only have 3 dividers and they are all I need for now. I decided to have vertical tabs because of the pen loops on the side. Each main tab holds several sub-topics - I decided to keep each sub-topic on it's own page, instead of creating sub-tabs for each one. If I start to get several pages per sub-topic then I might eventually create more sub-tabs but or now it's working fine.
For instance, under the Finance tab I have monthly household expenses page and personal expenses page; under Ideas tab, I have blog ideas, Petite&Co ideas, social media tracker, gift ideas, and more project ideas; under the To-Do tab, I have short and long term to-do's, Petite&Co related tasks, and several wishlists pages (to visit, to buy, to experience, etc).
I created these dividers on Photoshop, with watercolor texture brushes and some flowers that I draw. I made them to measure 10x18cm and printed them on white cardstock that I later laminated, punched and cut. I decided not to print their back side because I stick notes there and they stand out more against the white. I went for a colorful random theme and I really enjoy how they look :) If you are interested in getting them as well, just let me know and I'll see how to make them available (for free).
I hope you enjoy taking a look at my planner setup, if I ever change it I'll share again. If you have any planner setup tips or resources, feel free to share!
Thank you so much for reading!
