Daily Life - Week Recap: summer street parties, listers gotta list challenge, tv series and new jewelry
Since today is friday, I thought I do a recap of my week, sharing a little of my daily life :)
To me the summer season just started! During this month, there's several street parties to celebrate portuguese religious holidays. In my city, Lisbon, we give particular attention to Saint Anthony, the Patron of my city. All over town, on each neighbourhood, there's a party. Everyone goes out to eat grilled sardines, kale soup or churros on the street, while listening (and dancing) to a live band. These celebrations go on until the sunrise - it's chaotic but so much fun! If you ever visit Lisbon and enjoy partying, visit in June!
On another note, this month I started the Reset Girl's Listers Gotta List challenge, on facebook. Each day we are challenged to write a list within the given theme or question. It's fun to think a bit and doodle a lot! I've been particularly excited about the lettering and looking at other lists - I had calligraphy classes in college and I do illustration on the side, but I don't make time to doodle on a daily basis, so this challenge is the perfect excuse to do that! I've been listing each day on my pinterest board and sometimes on my Instagram.
On my watch list this month, there's two TV series that are now in-season: Game of Thrones and Pretty Little Liars. They're completely different shows but I've been watching since season one and I'm still interested in keeping up with them.
Game of Thrones is getting more and more exciting on each episode - finally we get to see the army of the dead and the tension is growing! Can't wait to see when Bran Stark is coming into action and what role will Arya Stark play in the plot!
Pretty Little Liars, on the other hand, is kind of dragging way too much. The line for this season was "Summer of Answers", but I only have more questions - who is Charles DiLaurentis and his he really A? What about Andrew? There's still so many loose ends from previous seasons so I really hope they can provide some real answers on the next episodes.
Finally, on the crafty side, I launched some new designs at Petite&Co this week. I have so many more lined up for realease, I'm just adding the final touches, like photographing and testing some more. One of these days I'll share a little behind the scenes of my jewelry work - it's what I do on a daily basis and I love it! :)
I'm sorry if this was way too long to read but I feel chatty today :) What about your week? Are you watching any of these tv shows? I hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks so much for reading!
